Healthy Cooking in the Cab

My name is Randy Grider. I'm the editor of Truckers News, and I'm interested in talking with truckers who cook healthy meals in their trucks and/or exercise in/or around their trucks. I know Trucker Steve does a lot of Youtube videos. On one in particular, he talks about eating healthy and one's health being the most important part of the job. He says he has a George Foreman grill, slow cooker, electric stove, etc. in his truck. The video can be found at http: //ww w.you tube.com/watch?v=SOdR5cVX_1w. This is a joke, right? Every Leased (or not) truck I've driven in my 40 years or so has had either Roaches (and not the smoking kind) or Bedbugs. Not one was Sanitary enough to cook in, however, I have ran with a 12 V microwave for when I got stranded. There was one so stinky from urine a Fly Gagged right there on the dogouse. Then I know about a guy who did have a 12 V hotplate and I'll be damned if he didn't burn it up all the way to the rims, grease from cooking eggs caught fire.

So I really wouldn't expect a lot of Posts on this thread.
