Default After being released from CRENGLAND haveing hard time finding a job open for opionion

I worked for Crengland for around 5 months. I was involved in a collision that no one was ticketed for, Crengland told me to get my load, deliver it and head back to the yard to take a safety test and than they would send me back out on the road. Well I got there and instead of even putting me through a safety test they ordered me to hand over the key to my lease truck, and asked me to resign. Well I havent pulled my dact report since than but i'm sure they put something on there that other company's arent likeing because it made it impossible for me to get another job. All I'm looking for is some opionion's on how I might be able to get back to work. I live in mid west Florida. If any one knows any local companys around this area that are hireing it would be a god send. I'm 22 grew up around the trucking world and now my dad is ashamed of me because my trucking is put on hold for the time being. So anyones opionion's would be greatly appreciated.

Default anyones opionion's

I had a similar experience with Roehl Transport. Don't give up.
Was it your fault? How much damage was done? I got my DAC and there is nothing on it, no negatives from Roehl. If you want local, try ConWay Frieght. I worked there for 11 yrs.
I'm too old for the LTL crap but you are only 22? Stay away from leasing trucks, good way to get ripped off. Good luck!

well you might not have enough experience for starters. now add into this the accident. now also add into this the economy. you need to get a copy of your DAC report, so go here: HireRight Online Resource Library

do what you need to get your free copy. each year, ANYONE can get 1 free copy. i suggest you do just that, and then if need be, send in a "re-buttle" regarding you and your situation.

hang in there, you're young, but things are tough all over and too many people out of work right now.

Where's Mid West Florida?
Around Tampa or Orlando?
5 Months experience isn't usually enough for much of ANY company as 6 Months is usually required at most however just in a year a lot of companies have been stating 1,2,3,5+ years experience.
Since there were NO TICKETS for the "accident/wreck/collision" there is NO PROOF it ever actually occurred therefore it cannot be listed nor would I mention such despite what might be listed on your usis/dac record.

GET A COPY OF THE USIS/DAC report BEFORE filling out ANY MORE applications.

I delivered a 53' trailer full of Surfboard blanks to a location in Tampa last year that were loaded in San Diego, CA.
That was a groovy load and the People were most appreciate on both ends.
I've not been south of Tampa except to the first Rest Area since there are soooo many available places for Combos to park in Florida.
Never been to Ellenton but I've been to Miami. I believe Ellenton to be superior to Miami just for the People alone.

Apart from anything stated in this Thread, you need to get a copy FIRST of the usis/dac record before proceeding to apply to ANY companies that report to and acquire info from usis/dac.
Not every company deals with the Oklahoma hassle yet how do we know which ones do or do not?
Also get a copy of your Florida Driving record just to be sure there's nothing negative listed which can most likely be done online.
