Another bunch of parasites that have worked out another way to screw money out of everyone, what can I say other than thank god I don,t live in America the land of the free, should be land of the screwed & rich few. The ANTI-TRUCKING establishment hard at work to eliminate as many People from Driving as is necessary to ensure complete compliance to these new Hitleresque (Communistic) demands.
ANYTHING done now in Driving that doesn't meet the strict guidelines of the f.m.c.s.a. can be construed as an act against Trucking and verily against the Driver(s) to protect the motoring public which, by the way, will continue to pull in front of Trucks and their other tactics that have been occurring for MANY DECADES, yet WE THE DRIVERS will now get a bigger DRY shaft.
Another form of CONTROL as only the bleeding heart fanatics can attain, for the good of the state.

Trucking is quickly heading the way of the Dodo: EXTINCTION.

Kiwiray: we can always use the input from you. The US has lots of faults that we can't see, the forest for the trees and all that. i tried my utmost best to read the link you provided. but in all frankness, it was way too much "mumbo-jumbo" to make any sense of it all.

in yet another thread here on this forum we all belong to, i stated that i only have 11 more years to reach 62 which WAS my target year for retiring and to collect social security, then POSSIBLY, get a plain and simple part-time job and just live out my days.

i can (and had for a long time actually) see where retiring at 62 is and has been a long distance dream now.

i went on to say (in that other thread), that IF i can find, RIGHT NOW, some other type of job that pays a decent wage, i'm outta here. and this isn't the "usual trucker's rant", its for real. i do have a mechanics education/experience, but to turn wrenches or go out and start buying them again, is NOT in my plans.

maybe a service desk job, or something else automotive related, might be my choice.

if that falls through, i'll just do what i can to pay the mortgage and survive.

it sickens me to no end how the bureacrats can blantly come up with garbage, when they themselves are ignorant to the actual job at hand. how anyone can DECIDE what is best and NOT HAVE any working knowledge is beyond me. what are they basing thier motives on, statistics, community meetings, world wide data....???

statistics CAN BE WRONG, especially if ENTERED WRONG by those who enter such data.

can we really trust what the officer writes down at the scene of an accident..??

can we really trust what an "aledged" witness says at an accident...??

can we really trust any thing, anyone says, simply to be put on one's agenda....??

i work at a "CDL Mill", and i can assure you of this FACT,.........

the IDIOTS that go there are CRIMINALS, former (and yes, current) DRUG USERS, and so lacking in common sense, you'd think that they should all be drowned in the deepest of all oceans.

yet, because they can get FINANCIAL AID, the school takes them in and churns out drivers, many of whom, because of thier past, WILL NOT GET JOBS, which we can then be THANKFUL of...........

but that doesn't stop the ones that fall through the cracks........

we have all seen the stupidity of new drivers. YES, WE WERE ALL NEW AT ONE TIME...........

BUT WE ALL LEARNED right away how to correct ourselves.

at my school..............MORONS are ever present and fluorishing, graduating with NO COMMON SENSE, and an absolute ignorant attitude of the road, and anything else.

and the guberment allows this, over the dedicated drivers like us.........???

here's one for you.........

there is this thing called ATB (abitlity to betterment), and EVERY student that goes to this school, MUST HAVE a high school diploma or at the very least, a GED.........with me so far...??

well the Director of Admissions, has found a way to "circumvent" this as well to "get the students in and that financial aid money"....

he has them "sit" in a class for a number of days. then they take the tests everyone else takes. if they pass, they get to repeat the class again, only this time, paying some cash, THEN signing papers for financial aid.........then they become students........!!

all to beat the government requirments........!!

how's that for getting uneducated drivers out there.........!!!
