Was just funnin you.....
Realized it right off and just thought how I could shift a 13 left handed.
If you have "purebred" MACKS down there, how are the levers arranged?
Main on the outside (passenger side) and dup/tri/quad between you and the main, or some other.
We had an old 22 White in a fleet once that had the main in the middle as usual and the 3 way brownie stuck up between you legs.
Brownie was in shaft between main and axle and had some problem linkage.
Once used to it, you could flop gears-Right hand on main, left wrist poked thru the steer wheel and flip your wrist between the top 2.

Yes I realised you were pulling my leg Ole Guy, the only Macks I have ever driven were a early 70,s R model & that was a real peice of , it had been to the moon & back at least 20 times & had possibly been driven by every man & dog in New Zealand, I had been driving it for about 20 minutes & for the first time I had to reverse the trailer into a dockway well did I have fun trying to find reverse gear after lots of cussing & kicking etc I flicked the switch & hey I had lots of reverse gears. LOL
The other Mack was a 2003 tractor unit with a 470 hp engine with 18 sp R/Ranger it was really a French Renault.
I have seen a few older trucks with twin sticks & have driven a few, two that come to mind are an Albion reaver (English truck) & an early model Nissan, I have also driven a few trucks with the old around the corner R/Ranger boxes nothing like the old days when steering was by armstrong & shifting was never ending.

I think that was one reason we did no doze off so easily. Driving then was kinda like riding a bicycle- Alway pumping the clutch, moving the lever , and straighteneing the wheel. Constant activity.
Take a new truck now, 500 HP, cruise, auto-shift, interstate, and a really good air ride seat it is sleepy house now....
