Think of the truckers life.
Long periods of time alone holding a steering wheel.
If one is prone to getting fat and they are wolfing snack food as they drive with no more activity then sitting in a seat.
well it stands to reason that over time they will be adding on more baggage.

Here is a perfect example of a long haul steering wheel holder.

how much money a person has sadly determines what they eat....
cheaper "fast foods" contain more carbs and simple carbs, fat and calories...

I need to lose weight as do many , I have been doing so slowly by portion control and eating better food and it is working for me.

I have battled my weight for the past 20 yrs but I am seeing progress, it take a whole thought process change...

Good luck to everyone but let me just say, when you eat better and less and move more, you sleep better, and you feel better and are in a better mood.

Well said Jeff a drivers diet is never good because of hours & what ever is open usually gas stations where pies & burgers are all that one can get.
I have lost 49 kilos (107lbs) since November last year, the diet I used I would not reccomend, it was called Septicemia & I spent 3 weeks in an induced coma & don,t remember any of it but out of all the negatives I got a good positve of loosing all that weight, I am now 102 kilos (220lb) & feel so much better & my back feels better also.
Eating right is so good for us because you not only feel better in your body but also mentally.

kiwiray down under.

Diet sodas contain Aspartame and other bad ingredients which have NOTHING to do with anything diet wise.
So ENJOY your diet drinks as they're simply good for nothing other than suckling the gullible (or as Bugs Bunny says "Gully Bull").

Combining Steaks (Red Meat, Fried foods) and Fries (fattening, starchy, cholesterol inducing like the steak) and a DIET drink through societal brainwashing to the belief that these drinks will somehow negate the effects of the food is simply hilarious.
You're better off drinking filtered WATER, because it IS BETTER for your Body.

The first and foremost letters in diet are DIE and the whole word can be seen as a message stating: DIE Today (or Tomorrow).
There are simply NO SODAS that are good for the Body especially any with diet in the name.

You is what you is from what you consume.
