the only "info" i personally have on cowan is that its just like any other trucking company. a buddy of mine told me to apply to them, but then i was told i would have to go to maryland for the orientation and physical/drug screening. which WOULD HAVE BEEN OK, but at the time, i wasn't about to board a bus, train or even drive down several hours only for a "possible" job, not a guaranteed job, at the BJ's account up here in New England. i think he told me, if hired on the spot, once down in maryland, they give you a truck to drive back home, then you park the truck at the BJ's distribution center, then go home from there........
needless to say, i didn't want the job that bad enough back then........
as i DO NOT WISH to be looking for a ride home from the dc center....nor do i wish to return home, at my expense, if they do not hire me.
then too, they may only have OTR jobs, which i also do not wish to do anymore either..........
