Default Questions for any Any Wil-Trans Drivers?

I was wondering what type of trucks and transmissions you folks are driving, I am being considered for refreasher training. I have a CDL-A , but have been driving motorcoach OTR for the last 2 years. How are their trainers and training program. I live in an area where most Companies won't hire out of, so I am excited that they are consider my application. I know it is an extended trianing program and thats OK, imho more training is better then less. I am thinking that having an longer training time would make a person more hireable in the long run. I also seen the post that they are affiliated with Prime, which is no problem to me. As I said where I live most Cos won't even consider. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I say go for it

wil trans:
10 cpm first 10,000 miles
12 cpm next 14000 miles
14 cpm next 14000 miles
at 58,000 miles you get 28 cpm
BUT
at 58,000 miles you can become a trainer at 34 cpm

You must sign a 15 month contract or pay back $2,800
I guarantee you that as a captive audience they will wear you down to a L/P
They are going to tell youn there are no company trucks available at the end of traing

There will be very little money coming in with any of the training companies
and when you finally go solo there's really no money either
30 cpm 15 bucks an hour and never home

good deal
awesome company

BTW they run nice Petes

You get 1 day off for every 7 days worked with a max 4 days off
so figure maybe 50 days a year off
(if you are out 6 weeks you still only get 4 days)
If your trainer is from the side of a hill in West Virginia and you are from NH
guess where you spend your days off

they have nice Pete's
