I know that Jevic sent out notices to all their customers Friday that they would not be picking anything up. We had a major shipper on Friday backstrip 3-4 full loads for Jevic and throw them on us. We should see some increase in freight but for how long nobody knows.
I doubt they will be the last to go in 2008 with the cost of fuel sky high. The companies with drivers running hundreds of miles a day each to pick up a few skids here and there are probably getting the worst of it right now.

That's just SAD.....

Yea, it's SO SAD for me to want the company I would like to retire from to do well. Yea, it's a harsh reality, but what happened to them is done, and we can either capitalize from this or let one of our competitors do it. Keep in mind I didn't wish them any misfortune.

You should "keep in mind" that all the freight companies I am sure have the same thought as you but it doesn't need to be posted.

I'll be sure to clear all of my posts with you from now on, so as not to hurt anybodys feelings, about whats going on in the real world.
