I'm one of those retirees from a now defunct company. But when I was working, the money paid into the pension fund in my name was used to pay out the guys who came before me. Now they want to cut guys like me loose? I guess that's the New American Way.

I don't see how it is your fault that the money paid on your behalf was invested poorly. And how many guys out there only worked for a now YRC company for a couple of years after their company went out? Do they now get only a small percentage of their retirement.

My post should probably be for the rumor thread. MY fear is the bill could somehow be used to partition the YRC people, in case it goes BR or never reenters the fund. Just thinking guys.

Not at all Wolf, your post is not a rumor, it's an opinion about this issue. And IMO very on topic. Thanks for your thought sir.
