Would like to get some feedback from Melton drivers and Owner-Operators.
Seems like I see a lot more Melton trucks out west.
Even though the main lanes are north and south between Mexico and Canada.
Hopefully you can relate your experience with Melton for those that may consider working there.

I sure see a lot of new recruits at the motel in BHM every week going thru training. I haven't heard anything negative from them guys. Just thought you might want to know. BigW-RD

BHM. I must assume that is Birmingham, AL.
I understand that Melton built a brand new terminal in Birmingham and that would make sense to see new recruits going there for orientation.
If you get to see those Melton drivers at your layover motel, just tell them about truckingboards.com so they can leave any comments that they would like to share with the rest of us.

stay away from melton, they promise you miles, keep you away from home, don't give you enough miles to make your lease, you end up owing them, and won't get paychecks...

That sounds like most of the companies out there... are there any good companies? Sounds like they(all trucking companies) are all about screwing the drivers, as long as they make a buck!
