Hey everyone, I just have a few questions for you guys. I'm 23 years old and I'm looking for a good career as I'm going to be getting laid off from my current job within about a month. I have always been interested in getting a CDL. I guess my main question here... is there really money to be made if I don't want to go OTR and just stay local? I was planning on just trying to get a class B for a straight truck or something along those lines, or maybe even trying to find something with a towing company driving a flatbed or something similar. OR would you all just suggest getting a class A right away? But either way is it worth it to get a CDL just to drive local? BTW I live just outside Chicago, if that matters any....
