I talked to my brother-inlaw today about his experience with OTR Trucking. He just finished getting his CDL and was doing his training session with another driver. He told me that he was doing all of the driving and had only gotten 8 hours of sleep in 3 days. The rest of the time he was driving. The driver that he was driving with showed him how to fudge his log books to cover the time spent driving and not resting. He kept 2 different logs one that was fudged and a correct one. He ended up quiting because of what was happening. He stopped at a rest area and said here's your truck back and climbed out and waited for is girlfriend to pick him up. The company he was working for was Star Transportation. Is this common or was he right about quitting.
