Well guys, I did it. Scored my permit on the first swing at it. It'll either be a shot at a decent way to make a living or a mistake. I'm certainly hoping for the former. Time will tell...next step is an orientation at the community college on the 15th. I'm not wearing any rose-colored glasses here but I'm looking forward to at least giving it a shot. I'm still intending to provide updates when the class starts (5 May) to help out fellow newbies following the same path. Barring a lot of homework of course. More to follow....
