Hye everybody! I have a question and I know you guys can help me. I am new to this site and I am contemplating a career in driving. I received an offer to start training at SWIFT but I am not hearing good things about that company. I am thinking about paying for school but my funds are low and these schools are quite expensive. My question is what does someone like me do to start into trucking and what are some of the good companies that train you for your cdl? I would also like to know some companies that do not require you to spend almost half of your life on the road? I am a family man with 4 children and I would like to spend time with them at last sometimes. Any help you guys can assist with would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!
