Wondering if anyone can help me out, I have a Class A with doubles/triples and hazmat. I used to deliver for Coca-Cola but have not been driving the big rigs for about 10 years. I used to drive 45ft trailer delivering to Grocery Stores. I have been selling different product over last ten years, sick of being tied to unrealistic sales number and begging for orders. I am looking to hook on with FedEx or UPS as a city driver. I sent in application as there was an opening at the FedEx Freight terminal in my home town in Northern NH. Does anyone know if they will give me a chance given the fact I have not been in a truck for a while? What is the starting pay for city drivers at these companies? I have a clean driving record, up to date DOT card.
