The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close westbound Interstate 580 (I-580) from I-5 to State Route 132 (SR-132) in San Joaquin County.

The closure will begin on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, through Saturday, July 12, 2008, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Crews will be replacing slabs at this location.

The detour is:
• North on I-5
• West on SR-132
• West on I-580.

Motorists can expect 5 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. All vehicles should follow the designated detour.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.
