GSU: Georgia economy to cool (Columbus Ledger-Enquirer)

The Georgia economy may have to settle for a slowdown in 2007 as job creation cools and certain sectors -- housing and manufacturing in particular -- feel the pinch of debt-strapped consumers, Georgia State University said in a forecast released Wednesday.
