OK; several on here are planning to celebrate Bush's last day in office. I've even said that I'm no fan of his either-- I see him governing as a Dem, while the others seem to think he's an "Evil-Doer".... From snorton norton, sparky, STLDude44, et al, I'd like to hear what they think the next guy/gal will do that magically makes him/her sooo much better.

Will the next Prez suddenly pull us out of foreign nations-- particurally Iraq and Afghanistan? I see no evidence of such.

Will the next Prez somehow magically bring the price of gasoline down? I see nothing to suggest it.

Will the next Prez close the borders and enforce illegal immigration? I don't see it.

Will the next Prez end the Free-Trade agreements, or somehow stop industry from leaving our nation? Nope.

Will the next Prez even discuss the failing MediCare/MedicAid/ Social Security mess? Not a chance.

Will the next Prez solve the "ethics problem" that the Dems were going to fix? There's another intern/page scandal out there now, and it's not about Repubs....

I can go on and on-- please tell me what is is that the next Prez will do that's so magical??????? Personally, I only see this as still grumbling about algore losing Florida in 2000..............
