This does speak to family values, however I was simply pointing out how some can be hypocritical on issues. I really don't want to bash the Palin family, they seem like decent people, thus far. Bush's daughters wild, how about being teenagers. I did the same as them as did 99% of the teenagers in America. There was no reason for the MSM to attack them. As for Cheney's daughter I remember on several occasions when Kerry brought it up completely out of context for absolutely no purpose except to try and make political points. Only the God given right of your/our/their free will and choice. Same rights for every one. Is that ignorance? If you're talking about "gay marriage" there is not now nor will there ever be any such thing. No matter what law is put on the books. Cheney, myself, no other Repub I know of opposses the right to a civil union. Their insistence on the right to call it marriage is based on their quest to legitimize their behavior. I truly do sympathise with their pain but, all I can do is hope for them, pray for them. Unfortunately there are carved in stone rights and wrongs. We can't break Gods laws, but we can break ourselves upon them.
