1-who's in your barn
2- where u working now
3- the history of the company
4- which terminal were u at
and so on. i know alot about this company, and other carriers but this one was the closes to me and i'd like to know more about it and the experiences i never got first hand except through conversation with the family and visiting them at work every so often there. |
I feel the same way you do......... I even sent Jeff an e-mail with all the Carriers that are in the Boneyard section, Trying to get some conversation going and didn't want them to be forgotten......... I am really surprised that Carolina and Akers
don't have any chatter going on... Carolina at the time of the ABF merger was the Sixth largest and Preston was about
8th before they went under........ just seems there would be more people around......... I only worked at Preston for 2 days out of the Union hall at the Glen Burnie MD. terminal.
My sisters ex worked there for 11 years he ended up moving to eastern shore to work out of the Preston MD headquarters
until they closed......... The best you can do is tell the people you know about these forums and keep posting.
