I believe cuts are being rotated to avoid having to lay off people. DLS is doing the same in city and linehaul.

It has been going on here at my barn since I was hired. Half the board has set days off to save on overtime.

we have 15-17 p-d rotated per day in fon....no line are rotated at this time

Everyone in sea is on 4 day workweek. Still getting a little overtime though. Alot of the bottom seniority guys are on call most days.
We had a small meeting the other day said we made money last quarter and things may be looking up soon, I havent checked it out yet.

You may think that this a crazy idea, but it looks to me that it may be time to pick up some Saia stock. Just from memory, it seems that it peaked a few months ago at around $19 or $20 per share and then has fallen to around $14 per share. It's been picking up a little each day with it's close on Friday at $14.66. The Friday market cratered with a loss of 250 points but Saia stock gained .11 cents. The market options on Saia stock has been turning a little more positive since the 3rd quarter numbers were released.

Come Monday, I think that I will test the water, buy some, and than hold it.
