Jim Bob: What is the policy IRT breathalizer tests where Waltrip lives?. Here on the west coast, drivers and MC riders suspected of DWI always get a breath or blood BAC test, no matter how well they pass the field soberity tests. Waltrip has a real problem if he can't even see a motorcyclist, him being a professional driver like us. I guess he thinks disobeying a concrete traffic barrier was OK too cuase he is so special.

If there are no injuries the LEO will probably just go by the (proven inaccurate) breath test to write the ticket. But with injuries and property damage MW should have went for blood work because lawsuits will be coming. With him blowing .06 at the accident the blood work would more than likely show .08 or higher.Too drunk to drive.....It seems that the breath test is standard and each police chief or sheriff sets his own standards for doing the blood work. This may not be the law but this is how it works. These small town sheriffs have more power than most people think.

Well that explains it, pretty much. The state's law-enforcement agencies here in Kalifornia seem to copy one another from county to county, more or less. DWI and dope is big money out here, so the cops pull anyone over for any reason at all, hoping to make a bust. That's one thing I like about the South. They still seem to do things different then gang-ridden police states like Kalifornia. Can't wait for us to move on out of here.

Not if martial law is declared. This state is smack full of super-cops that would love to play at being a Nazi goosestepper. They practically are now. If you are not in your home, your forth amendment rights are ignored by most of the cops here who have no respect for our rights. The only cops out here I have any respect for are the CHP. Heading for TX if the stuff gets ugly, make a stand there.
