well put full deck !! just my 2 cents worth... i would like to see a great contract even if it is only for 2 yrs. that would allow the baby boomers to get out of my way. here in omaha they cant retire because there age has them trapped. they are saying they cant afford the insurance if they retire. so here they work yr around while companys are trying to down size and do more with less guys. i got 8 yrs in and get layed off every yr. I have been layed off since oct 21 06 and still layed off / with one above me layed off too. With guys that have 33-35-36- yrs in and cant retire. so lets not be shy about it, the union reps need to get the best contract the teamsters have ever seen. lets give brotherhood what it deserves. the guys that fought for 30-33-35 yrs depend on us to carry the torch. tell your pres./ vice pres./ ba/ and anybody else that will listen we need a great contract. just my 2 cents worth. If it leads to a strike then we stand as brothers and fight just like our brothers did before. I just dont know how well that would go over in omaha nebraska we have guys working overtime while guys are layed off that doesnt seem like brotherhood to me so i can only asume that if there was to be a strike then the ***** that are working the overtime while guys are layed off would have all the hours they wanted if there was to be a strike. you know they would come up with a reason why they would have to cross.
Im sorry did i say that out loud ?? yes your a **** if you work overtime while guys are layed off!! .
