I have a friend of mine that retired from Roadway about 4 years ago. He is enjoying the benefits of the teamster pension. He has always told me one thing: we make more and have better benefits so we better do a better job... I think that he is right us UNION people can do a better job and care more about the freight. I personally think that if we dont cjange we will succumb to the non union environment . I am not managemant, however I am for the company making money and that is what thay are in business for. We are UNION and we should be propd of it and take care of the company that enbables us to be UNION. So my message is do your job and dont f the company so we can eventually expand into outer companies. (If you look at this wouldnot you like to have more teamsters than the present and get the general teamster population growing. Be Proud that you are UNION and not a ****!
