I grew up with agrandfather that spent the better part of his adult life as an International representative for the Oil,Chemical And Atomic workers Union and I saw how he hard he worked to help all these people most of which he didn't persoanlly know. When I gat older I fumbled around for awhile and finally got my head on straight. I became a Teamster about 12 years ago, but have beeen a member of a couple of unions UFCW and the USMWA and I tell you I feel a great sense of unity because I knopw that we are all fight for the same thing. We will not allow Big Businesss and all those who seek to destrory what makes this Country great, to have their way. We may not always agree on how to go about it but I think we all truly have the same goal in mind, a better life for our families and our selves. we have taken a couple of big hits in recent days but I tell you I think this will only reinforce our determination to reach our goal. we stand up fight for the rights of the common man and woman whether they are union or non union ,like it or not. Iam proud of that. That's what I like about being union! And I will always be pro-labor, pro union as long as there is breath in my lungs.
