Teamsters Rally to Protect UAL Mechanics' Jobs

UAL plans to sell off to sell off its heavy maintenance base in San Francisco affecting nearly 4,500 mechanics and their families in the region. United currently outsources 45 percent of all its maintenance work to foreign repair stations that are not held to the same standards as their U.S.-based counterparts.
