| | I counted two times
I counted two times during Sen. John McCains acceptance speech that he spoke out against labor unions. the first time was when he claimed he stood up and fought unions. I believe any Teamster truck driver or member who votes for this anti-union anti-middle class man should have his or her union card pulled and forced to go back to the non-union barn that they came from. furthermore if anyone reading this post thinks it has been difficult to organize new members under the current administration just wait and see what happens if Sen. John McCain takes over the White House.

AH, McCain can say anything he wants, BUT, it is the Congress (Senate & House) that makes the laws governing us. He can approve or veto any labor law. You also have to take into account one other little thing, Sarah Palin. Her husband is a member if the Iron Workers Union. I think we may just have an "advocate" in the White House if they get elected.....As it goes for organizing, you can't blame that fully on the government, some of the blame has to fall where it should, which is the International, which tainted the waters w/Overnite and Uncle Leo.
BTW: I am Republican, a past steward and current member. If You want to send me back to the "non-union" barn I came from, I'll just have to get refinanced so that I can reopen my corporation, come steal your freight away and put you on layoff so that the Dem's can give you ADC, GA, food stamps and welfare. Don't want you to perspire while exuding a little phone energy & getting your freebies!

The bottom line: the republican party agenda is anti labor union, McCain voted against the EFCA, since Reagan, the republican policy changes have been designed to undermine organized labor, starting with busting the air traffic controllers union and continuing with the on going gutting of the NLRA. I don't care what labor union her husband belongs to, the repub's will not defer to that affiliation and abandon their agenda, period...

| | Pocket change The only change you will have with Barrack Hussein Obama is what's left in your pocket after you get taxed to death, you know he supports the United Nations on a GLOBAL tax for third world countries,?? now we have to support third world countries and all the deadbeats and illegals in this country with my hard earned money, no thank you, I will take my chances with McCain/Palin. Too close to retirement, you know.
