 Oak Harbor Freight on Strike
Oak Harbor Freight, a northwest regional carrier with operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, and (I think) Nevada went on strike Monday the 22nd. The greedy selfish ownership has already started to sc.. the work out. This Company is owned by two brothers that are aparently trying to break the union up here in Washington and Oregon. If any of you brothers and sisters have any contact with this carrier or it's customers please spread the word and divert any business you can away from it. This used to be a very good Teamster Company employing several hundred members.The results of this strike will have a very profound effect on the remaining Teamster regional carriers left uphere in the northwest.
