I guess the greatest amout of money that I won was for a couple of members for around $1,200 each. They were dock workers laid off by the company. Back then when you were laid off the men were given a sheet that you signed letting the company know if you were willing to accept work calls while on layoff or if you were wanting to take the layoff. The guys signed to accept calls and listed the phone number to reach them. The company didn't use the numbers they furnished!! I had all the "man power" sheets pulled for the 3 weeks and for every junior man that worked, I requested that the men get paid for the workaround. I'll tell you what the TM at the time was some kind of pissed. They didn't have a leg to stand on because it was the company that asked the laid off man what number to contact them on to work. The only thing I wished I had asked for was to have all H&W paid for those 3 weeks, also!! No layoff notice since then has the phone number line on it!!

So goes the saying "You win some, you loose some"!! DS.
