Tell that to the USF Bestway workers in California, Arizona & New Mexico who were just organized by the Teamsters.

I guess that you know more than the IBT & the UPSF workers that are considering joining the Teamsters.

You are probably right that OD won't be organized in the near future. That will be up to the workers to decide. But if the IBT is successful with UPSF, then it won't be long before the Fed Ex workers will be looking to join the union & enjoy the same job security, pay & benefits that the Teamsters offer.

When that day comes you will probably have 15 or 20 red dots next to your name & you will still be spewing your same anti-Teamster garbage.
I think most of the of the driver's at fedexfreight are pretty happy, I can't speak for the rest of the divisions of fedex, I don't see the family of fedex going union anytime soon!

Hey Puff......so what I gather from your post, depending on how the company is managed is how it survives ?!? You are correct. The IBT doesn't run these companies, they do. So don't blame the union for shutting them down. That excuse has been debunked over and over. DS.

Brother...red star was all union but there management was not up to par...Holland took over...UNION and New Penn..UNION.. took the business...Fedex groung in Mass. is union they will have contract ....I doubt very seriously you pay and treat your drivers better... Do you pay for all their families insurance and a pension and a 401k..No...I did not think so..Next.....If you operate at a 95 Union or Non-union ..you are a genius.....YRCW ownes Roadway and Yellow....That is 2 of 5 top companies..ABF...Fedex and UPSF round out the top 5 and UPSF about to join the elite...AS for YRCW and wall street..you better look closer the stock is higher that any single LTL company..NEXT..... I think you need to study more and take the blinders off, buddy......Pretty soon....4 of 5 top LTL companies will be union and we will still get you better pay and benefits..Go ahead and ride our coat tails. We are the future!!!!

I don't see it happening very soon either.... I read on a UPS post that an analyst projected that the Teamsters COULD gain 15,000 new members in the parcel unit for existing jobs & potential new ones with UPS success in merging air & ground domestic services

If you will note in my post below to Puff Driver , I said "IF" the IBT is successful

Organizing will take time & it won't happen without the majority of the workers wanting it.

Angry FedEx National and Unions

I work for FedEx Natl (formerly known as watkins motor lines) . I have recently seen anti union propoganda passed out amongst management. I am a driver and i know that i would prefer to have a union contract. Its not so much the pay that i would want increased but it would be for a pension and job security. It just seems at FedEx management can do anything and everything to you over here and there is nothing you can say about it. I know i speak for the majority of employees over here that we are tired of the bs.

Does Fed Ex Ground in Mass have a contract?

YRC has lost 30% of its stock value. They have recently reduced profit forecasts.
All great news if you hold stock????

UPS Freight has 1 terminal organized again without a contract.

What happens if UPS signs an agreement with the teamsters on a contract but allows UPS Freight into a private pension????

The organization of the barn went too easy. I smell a rat....
