Employee free choice act
Richmond I hope you are listening. This week "The employee free choice act" was introduced to congress. This bill will allow the employees to vote for a union by getting the majority of cards signed at their terminal. (Card check neutrality) Currently after the majority of cards are signed, the company has 42 days to hire a team of union buster lawyers, who pull out all the stops, to get a no vote out of you. It is very intimidating to some. To say the least. Now we know why UPS and YRC Workwide are allowing card check neutrality with their newly aquired non union companies. They knew this was coming down.
