RR Donnelley - May cut workers pay by $3/hr The talk coming from some people who work there is the company is saying that some people in "certain" departments are going to be taking a pay cut anywhere from $3 - $10 a hour. People in management have told these workers that $3 is more then likely. As a result, this will take those people affected down to what the temps are making there when they first start work at the plants.
It is not certain that this will happen and at this point it is just the talk going around there at this time. At the same time, there have been many changes going on there now for a while for the people that work there from health care, work schedule, and etc.
Finally, this is a very large company and one of the largest in their industry too.
In closing, is their anymore to this story that anyone out there knows about that may not have been noted here? Has any other people faced and/or heard of this for others in their work places? If a company decides to do this do they have to give a notice to the workers on when this will take place? |
