Mistakes. We all make them man. At least I know I do. Not a problem.

Why would anyone consider joining a union? Just to give up $40.00 or more a month so the union can support their favorite democrate canidate. Unions are a thing of the past. Don't believe me look how the teamsters have treated their member on insurance premimums and other things that are too numerous to mention. Only the brain washed stead fast union die hards would deny they are sucked into a whirlpool and can't get out. I have worked for a union carrier and all that goes on is crying about who gets what that they don't get. Grievances out the rear end and in the end no one is happy. If Fed Ex Natl would want a vote for union I would say not 1000%. All the union members who read this know they are like the little boy who cried wolf. Keep yelling long enough and there are some that will come running. Be proud that you have a job and do it to the best of your ability or move on over to the union side and another company.

Well, I don't cry wolf, and I don't yell. I would be interested in knowing who the union carrier it was you worked for, and the Local Union you belonged to, and why all the grievances.

When it comes time for you to cry wolf, and noting the employer you work for, the time will most definitely happen, we will be here to help.
It's only a matter of time.

It's up to you guys to go Union or not....I don't work at FedExNat.....however, to say that Unions are not needed anymore, like Whim has done, is totally ridiculous. They actually are needed more than they ever have been in the last 50 years or so with corporate America throwing out any values other than profit. I'm guessing Whim listens to a little too much talk radio and has bought into the crapola that salesmen like Shawn and Rush spew. Read these very boards all over and you'll quickly see that Unions are very needed. Union dues are a small price to pay for the comfort of knowing that they can't just decide to screw you however they choose to that day. I get the feeling we're seeing many Mgmt. posters here.

whim, if a bank offered you a guaranteed return of over $200 per month for a $40 per month investment would you do it?
