I have been sitting in the background now for some time watching the arguments on union/non-union. I worked at a non-union ltl carrier for a while until I realized my intention was to drive a truck not a forklift. I am now linehaul at Holland and I can say that in my 17 years of commercial driving this is the happiest I have been at an employer. It is my first union job and I can say that I would have it no other way from here on out. I'm happy for you if you are non-union and happy, but you guys seem to be the angry, bitter ones on this site. I for one vote UNION YES and would get out of trucking before I was as miserable at a job as some of you seem to be.
