Protesters target day-labor center

A volatile standoff over day laborers and illegal immigration has moved from an east Phoenix furniture store to a north Phoenix day-labor hiring site.About a dozen members of groups opposed to illegal immigration have been staging protests outside the Macehualli Work Center since Saturday in retaliation for the weekly protests at Pruitt's Home Furnishings.
