Now theres a great reason to have the union, Go on strike, be out of work, and hope someone buys the company, meanwhile the workers already lost homes, cars, and wives, .. Where can I get in on this?

How did you come to that conclusion? Your posts are dumber than dirt.

Just how many sarcastic posts do I have to make before you finally realize that is no more Overnite? that UPS bought them out more than 2 years ago.

Its no wonder that you & braceface get along so well. You both make ignorant union bashing post without any regard to the facts or the truth.

Now let me try 1 more time to get you to address the topic of this thread which is the fact that overtime is not a union / non union issue since all the good non union companies pay their hard working hourly employees overtime & the "bottom feeders" do not. What say you to the issue? Do you have an opinion on anything other than union bashing?

yes I do..In fact I agree with you, ANYTHING over 40hours you should be paid time and a half, none of this we will give overtime on the 6th day or only after 40. If I put in 8 hours I want overtime at 8:01 on monday < or the very 1st day that I work..One time a long time ago I call a Tanker co. to work for, and I asked them do you pay overtime? and he said no. then I asked do you require us to work overtime? and he said yes. then I asked why would anybody agree to those terms? He said If I paid everybody overtime "I would go out of business" and I told him well you should go out of business, What others way do you screw the drivers to stay afloat, and I said thanks but no thanks As for reddaway Im not sure how they pay overtime but I know they do, could be anything worked after 8 or after 40 or the combination of both, but Im not a city driver so Im not up to date on it 10-4?

I personally agree the overtime should be over 8 not over 40. I never liked the over 40 thing. Too many ways to take advantage. But oh well they have a choice I guess.
