If I was on the fence before, about my vote for pres........the fact that the union has now backed Obama, makes my mind up for McCain.......anyone the union is backing, will not now, nor will ever get my vote.......

Let's see you may get Obama to back up your union Boss's but he will continue to force you to hand over your guns like he voted for twice in IL as a state senator.

He will increase the phony multiculturism that is forced upon english speaking Americans.

He already dislayed his "new" presidential seal. In which he abandons the longtime US motto "E pluribus unium" He will replace it with some notion that new immigrants will not have to assimiliate to the culture of one America.
Oh yea at least now he wears a pin of the flag for the nation his wife hates.

The teamsters always back losers. The democrates can care less about the working man but the american public is to stupid to see it. Lets see they gave us NAFTA, higher taxes, two years have controled congress and we have gas prices going through roof, and what are they saying now, that they wont drill for our own oil but all the democrates say the cant wait till they can raise our taxes again because we want them to control our lives. This teamster will never vote for a democrate or should I say the american communist party. Take america back vote all the democrates out of office

Yes, the teamsters back losers sometimes, but this time we have a winner in Obama. He has as a matter of record a number planks in his platform that will if enacted strengthen the labor movement here in America. This will help stop the "race to the bottom" that is currently being run here in America for us in the working class. That's why I'm giving him my vote.

Actually it was President G.H. Bush who negotiated the NAFTA treaty and signed it prior to leaving office. Then it was Clinton that took that horrible ball and ran with it, without the full support of Democrats in Congress, thats the House and Senate.

Here is the rundown of the 1993 vote in both houses to approve the treaty. House Vote: Yes, 234; No, 200. By party Yes, 102 Democrats, 132Repulicans. Senate Vote: Yes, 61; No, 38. By party; Yes, 27 Democrats, 34 Republicans; No 28 Democrats, 10 Repulicans. Our Union has been squarely against NAFTA.

Obviously someone has not done his homework. Taxes haven't been raised, the Democrats don't have a veto proof majority control in either body of Congress and gas prices are out of control for a number of reasons most of which are beyond the control of Congress.

Your last comment about democrats and communist is so ridiculous as to not warrant a response.

Also, our Union should not be taken for granted by any political party and should only support candidates that support the labor movement and our agenda.

Anyway, I sure hope everyone has a Happy and Safe 4th of July Holiday, and lets all be thankful for all that have made this possible, thanks to the veterans and the men and women for are serving today.

Who cares about social or corporate endorsements.Most Christian establishments endorse the Republican Party,however I highly doubt all Christians will support McCain....If a person needs their organization to tell them who to vote for,that person needs to be more educated through his or hers own research...

On a side note, I'm a vet, and I stand behind each and every troop that is out defending our country, no matter what some freakin, pencil pushing, bull crap spewing a$$*ole, might be thinking or b*&ching about. Get off your rear and go out and serve your country, instead of crying about it, go out and thank a current soldier or vet. I also stand beside those that have their loved ones overseas, you guys are awesome!
