With the exeption of elected union officers, union members do not work for the union, they are employeed by their employer and represented by the union.

Why blame the Teamsters for layoffs? The union does not lay its members off, the company lays off its employees.

Union dues are not paid to the democrat party. They are paid to the IBT with a percentage to the local union.
