And please don't even begin to tell me I know nothing of what I speak...10 years at Yellow with the biggest pieces of worthless crud I ever associated with makes me more than knowledgeable...My father was a proud 40 year teamster, but the work ethic left with that generation...they understood where their paycheck came from, and it never had a Local number on it..the guys signing on the last 15 years think everything is owed to them, and I can't wait until they get what's coming to them...and they will...in time... | You work for Yellow? It sounds like you do but I can't tell from your post. If you do work for Yellow and you're not happy, get the heck G O N E.

And I am not kidding.. | HEY NOW!!!!!!!! After your sex change operation, we will put a lantern in your hand, and stand you up next to our Lady Liberty! You will be known, from that day forward, as Lady Resistance! We will place a plack by your feet, honoring your bravery! Here stands a once proud Con-Way driver aka. jakebrake12. He-she fought a valiant battle of resistance to the union movement in the year of 2008. After the futile effort was over, he-she was strapped to a table in the town square. Hoffa himself, ordered the gladiator to concede to his new king. With total disdain for his captors, he blurted out, " I'd rather be castrated than become a TEAMSTER sire!!!" Hoffa turned to the towns people with a gleam in his eye. " WISH GRANTED" he railed. And with one swift swipe of his dagger, a new martyr was born. He then turned to the hordes of Teamsters, who had gathered , to witness this monumental event. Hoffa raised his arm with Jakes jewels proudly displayed in his hand. Hoffa screamed to the crowd, " Brave Heart will never oppose the collective bargaining unit again!!!!!" Teamster Elvis out.....

I just dont get the people with the old attitude of " I by God knew what was a coming when I hired on with company X and they got every right to work me like a rented mule fer as many hours and fer a discount rate ta boot. It was sher good enough fer Daddy and Grand Daddy too. I dont deserve nutin better and yuew dang sher dont either." For the previous poster who wondered why you would complain about the wait for top pay when you knew full well what you were getting? In my case Conway was the best thing I could find that was not working 11 plus hours a day in my location. We were working 8 or 9 hours a day and the sacrafice of a little money was a fair trade for me. At a certain point I value my free time more than their money. If I work past that point I want Conway to pay a premium to discourage them from working me long hours for months without end. Unless that is they get to feel my pain after 8 hours daily. Yes I would vote for the union. Come on Devil, my soul is for sale!
