Conway employees this is FYI for anyone interested in finding out any info on who to contact.(1) go to www.Teamsters.org click on the links under organizing.
There should be a form you can fill out with all your personal info.
This is very confidential so no worries on who would know ok.
(2) If anyone hear is from Colorado i can give you there direct number to the Teamster Hall Local 17 here in Denver.
These two guys have been in the Teamsters for many years and have alot of knowledge in organizing and a great bunch of guys.

Union pension stays the same even when 401k's crash. How many older workers at Conway are going to have to work many more years to rebuild their 401k? MOST, especially since they basically lost their pension a few years back.

NO, the Union has very little to offer any more, the power is gone, just one big party now at the members cost, very sad for all of us.

The power is NOT gone. The power is growing. Daily. More and more workers are choosing union representation, not only in the transportation industry. We have at least two or three new companies come on board every month. You guys want to stay in a state of denial, by listening to your companies anti-union rhetoric, that's your prerogative.

Sounds like the same babbling big talk that so many said where I worked when we organized it. It was real fun to watch them eat their words when it was voted in. Not one of them gutless company left.
