No one is on my ignore list, nor will anyone ever be. I can take it like a man, no need to hide from anyone for any reason.

BTW, I have been driving for over 28 years as a Class A driver, and before that I started driving commercial trucks at 18, driving what were called "Class 2" (Class B, now) vehicles, back in the day.

I have hauled petroleum fuels, propane and butane, heavy steel sheet and iron products, machinery, refrigerated goods and lots of other goods over the years on tankers, flatbeds, doubles, long boxes and reefers, so I most likely have more experience and miles in this industry then you do, Jeep Jerk.

If the other posters here, who say Puff hates unions, that's good enough for me.

Yeah, unions have some problems, but I'd rather work for a union company where there is unity in strength in numbers of the brotherhood, instead of working non-union where your employer can treat you like %$#@ and the only thing you can do is catch up with him "between the trailers" or quit.

Been there, done that for too damn many years. No one should have to put up with that c**p at any job, IMO.

Of course, you have a right to your own opinions, even if they are mistaken or wrong.

First off the real Teamsters at NEMF did get a raw deal by the mob controlled local 560. The Genovese Crime Family had a way of persuading people to do what they were told to do.

Puff could have gone to any of the other union jobs in North Jersey that were run "by the book". There were plenty of them & they were always looking for help. It only took 8 days to make the list back then, so he probably had something in his file so that couldn't get hired on a real union job.

Based on these three pieces of evidence, the district court concluded that Sciarra was following instructions from the Genovese Family about NEMF in [**24] order 1) to prevent disclosure of past criminal dealings between the company and Genovese Family members affiliated with Local 560 and 2) to preserve the improper relationship between the local and NEMF. Id.

The government presented evidence that during the 1970s, Myron Shevell, NEMF's president, cultivated a [**20] corrupt relationship with various officials inside Local 560, including Anthony Provenzano and Stephen Andretta. The leadership of Local 560 agreed with Shevell in the late 1970's to allow NEMF to deviate from the NMFA in its employment practices. This allowed NEMF to expand its non-unionized workforce and gradually to decrease the size of the Local 560 collective bargaining unit that was working at NEMF.


Puff wants to blame todays Teamsters union for what Shevell & the Mob did to the 560 drivers after they agreed to throw out the Teamsters union & bring in the Machinist's union..... That is if he did in fact even work as a Teamster at NEMF
