FedEx Corp. and the union representing its pilots reached a tentative labor agreement after 29 months of negotiations that underscored tension over whether compensation for cargo pilots should reflect the downturn in pay for pilots at some passenger airlines.
The contract calls for a 9% raise for all pilots in the first year and 3% raises in each of the following three years, according to people familiar with the terms. Other details weren't available.
