I want to address the All freight Teamsters thread.

So what is the Teamsters union thinking to bargain for a lesser contract at the INDY terminal?
And if its not going to as good as the NMFA,why should we even bother joining the union?

Remember one thing Apo, we are just the working stiffs, and considering the complexity of UPSF going union and securing a contract, we must sit back to let the massive machine know as corporate America ( and it's lawyers ) grind out a contract that will not only be ground breaking but may be the fore-front of a new age in America's working people.
Sit back and wait, asking another Teamster on the street will only result in speculations on his part.
Whatever happens will take a long time.
I wish all the UPSF people the best and I feel that in the end, the whole industry will benefit from your actions.

You will more than likely get your own UPSF Contract that is equal to or better than the NMFA.....don't assume already that it won't match up to the NMFA. You've already formed a negative opinion and you don't know what it will be yet, as none of us do. None of us should assume anything at this point because we just don't know the details yet, and maybe won't for some time. There are literally thousands of issues to go over when negotiating a brand new Contract.

A, to be honest with you, I have no idea why UPSF will not be part of the NMFA. Only the powers that be can answer that question.

Please keep in mind that just becasue the contract will not be NMFA does not mean it will be an inferior contract.
My guess is that it will be based on the NMFA and have specific language for UPSF.
