Everybody know upper management and goverment officals don't count. They have the ability to vote themselves a raise, and they do every year . CEOs can be the savior for a board of director that find their way out of a wet paper bag. That why they give them anything they want, it save their jobs. That all they care about saving their a$$e$

Hey fr8rookie.........if you are anti union then why do you care what the unions have done for the workers?? You benifit every day from what unions have done for workers. They are why there is a middle class in America. Unions created the 40 hour work week and paid vacation. And you get the benifits. I doubt your reason for starting this thread as "solid answer for my questions"......why should you care, whatever responses you get here you either don't believe or have ridicule for them. DS.

My first question was what good has the union done for the public not the workers. I was referring to the citizens.People with open minds to other opinions can change in either direction. Whether it be trucking,politics or any other thing. You can call it bull or whatever thats your right. I could be asking the same question to a anti-union person. Thats what debate is about.

We have to remember that lots of "the public" work union jobs. Airline workers to Zoo workers. If you drink Miller or Budwiser, pump you gas using a Gilbarco gas pump, ride on most airlines, get into a taxi, put you kids on a school bus, which is union made, or drive an American made car......this is union work and they are "public workers". I like watching sports, most are union.

I am with Toxic on this one wow where do i start. What has the Union done for the public? Just off the top of my head I would say raised the standard of living and working conditions for EVERY working person in the USA. If you haul really freight you had better thank a TEAMSTER. ARE you serious?

Here is the answer to your question = The Teamsters have raised the standard of living and working conditions for EVERY working person in the USA. You won't except that but it is the truth. Just because you deny the truth dosn't make it any LESS true.
FACT= The sky is blue the water is wet and the Teamsters have helped all americans. Everytime you see a Teamster you should thank them for your paycheck!
