 To Be or Not To Be
Lets see, I would say from the forum surfin I have been doing, I have a few small question that seem to keep revolving in my small brain.Compare the 2 forums, the non-union forum seems to be mostly quite and content, the union forum seems to be in an uproar wondering about their leader and who is really in charge or who they think sure be in charge.I am a non-union trucker.My biggest question is can someone that holds a card tell me what good has the union done for the public in this country. Not what the union has done for you, but for the public for which you work.As a truck driver you perform a service to the public. Also how does it feel that not only are the people that you work are getting rich the union for which you pay dues are getting rich and playing golf with the owners of your company? Take a good look at what the Auto Makers and some trucking companies are doing to your union and mostly to the Pensions that you rely on for your future. I believe that if you put your future in someone elses hand you will loose. The only way to save for the future is to do it yourself,oh but wait a minute then you can't blame anyone for your failure can you.
