Working for Land Air Express of NE was the most terrible
experience ever - they pretend to be all about family & caring - way far from the truth - they need to look up the
definition ! Did you know the 50 company layoffs were
concentrated at ALL OTHER terminals other than those
in VERMONT - as per confessed by owner VERMONT workers are the best. Another Company that has sold out to
the BIG MAN - its all about the Money - doesnt matter
at what cost - Im sure that FRED SPENCER did feel that
way when he stared the company. GREED = FAILURE -
its only a matter of time - KARMA

I have had the exact oppisite experience with Land Air Express. I now have 10 years in at Land Air and they have treated me and my family very well, and i don't even work in Vermont!

Just like many other companies out there in these difficult economic times Land Air did what they had to do to survive.

I don't see anything wrong with the owner of the company being proud of his Vermont workers.

And who is the Big Man that they sold out to?

DO NOT care - just google Land Air Express of NE
and you will FOR SURE see some dirt on LAXV !
As far as the BIG MAN - its meaning they sold
their conscience to the devil / corporate america.
Its all about the bottom line/money/greed - I too thought they were an family company - I too had many years
of service - as they say keep your friends close, and
your enemies closer !

Land air is not doing anything different that no other company is doing to survive.
they had that family feeling about 7 yrs ago, we use to get six flag tickets ,redsox tickets, summer cookouts. but signs of the times and when companies grow, they tend to be more comericialized and lose the family aspect. we can hope that land air will make tons of money and as Obama says "spread the wealth".

It sounds like you are one of these disgruntled employee's that is never happy no matter where you work!

comment / opinion. All I can say is Im Sooooooooo
glad WBG voted YES ! for Teamsters Union Representation.
Good Luck WBG - Land Air for sure has a lot of other
employees bluffed !!!
