as for tanking, Your hero Ronald Reagan’s approval ratings during his first two years in office were at 52%, Exactly where Obama is today after a few months mr. rhetoric.

Do nothing?? Really?? When Obama spoke to the AFL-CIO on Labor Day, he said just that. He said the other side(REPUBLICANS) had no plan. He said the other side said there was nothing wrong with out Health Policies today. Well that was a LIE!! Republicans have wrote their own bills for health care reform. And the dems and Obama said no, and refuse to even listen to them.

And there's a big difference between Reagan and Obama. Reagan pushed free market principles. Principles that been proven to work time and time again. Obama is pushing socialism, which has been proven to fail time and time again.

Sorry. You're incorrect. They have accepted dozens of Republican ideas.

What the right is guilty of is spending more time screeching about how wrong the left is instead of going out and telling us what their plans are.

The talking heads of the right are acting like petulant children instead of the adults that got elected to represent their people.

Obama is pushing for the government to own production? When was this? As far as I know, we haven't taken over the production of anything. You need to understand the terms you use if you want to argue a point. He's not a socialist, or a marxist, or a communist, and he's not Muslim.

We've seen what the free market is capable of when it gets restrictions lifted by the government. I'm guessing you would rather have had Wall Street fail utterly, have the banks go out of business, and GM fail putting even more people out of work. To what end?

Ok, what ideas have the dems accepted? And the free market has to include failure, for it to work. Government jumped in and bailout GM(WHICH WE'LL NEVER SEE THAT MONEY PAID BACK) before they failed. GM should have failed. Its not the governments jobs to save anybody in commerce. Its their job to preserve the process of free markets and capitalism.

He may not be a Muslim. Even he were, there's nothing wrong with that. But he is a socialist. He believes in redistribution of wealth. Thast socialism. Here is what he said.

How do you know that we will never see that money paid back? I heard screeching about money to banks that we would never see and here it comes to us with interest!

This is the closest I could find in my limited time for amendments that have been accepted into the Health Committee bill:

Slate examines the GOP amendments to a Senate health care bill. - By Christopher Beam - Slate Magazine

More Republican amendments were adopted than Democrat. By a huge margin.

Quote:
so⋅cial⋅ism [soh-shuh-liz-uhm]
–noun 1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of
capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principal
For a more in depth explanation of socialism:

Show me where Obama has advocated controlling the capital and production of the country from a central government.

From the above entry:

Quote:
Therefore socialists advocate the creation of a society that allows for the widespread application of modern technology to rationalize economic activity by eliminating the anarchy in production of capitalism[4], allowing for wealth and power to be distributed based on the amount of work expended in production, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how and to what extent this could be achieved.
So even avowed socialists can't agree on how to get this done. Yet you think Obama is headed in this direction. You can't show me anything to prove this. In socialism, loans aren't repaid with interest.

Don't know for sure. But the Washington Post reported on why we may never see that money again.http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...062904105.html

YA, but they don't wanna talk about tort reform. Tort reform has a proven history in Texas. The dems and Obama are hell bent on this HR3200.

I know what socialism is, and if you can't see what Obama is doing. Then I don't know what to tell you.

He's not going to advocate it. He ain't that stupid. But everything he has done is a road towards socialism. Didn't you watch YouTube clip I put up? You didn't comment on that. Isn't that proof?
But look GM. He bailed them out. And now all of sudden GM is making a green push. The GM Volt was scraped by GM, but after they got the government money, then all of sudden the Volt is back. Even though GM and every economist said GM would lose money on the Volt. But Obama wants more green cars, so GM has bring back the Volt.
Look at health care. This plan Obama is pushing is another roads towards socialism. He know this plan will lead to Universal Health Care.

Loans? Its yet to be seen. But like reported by the Washington Post, these loans aren't likely to be paid back.

Oh wait!! The money the banks got. 25 billion each I believe. The banks wanted to pay them back, but the Obama administration said no!! Barack Obama Maintains Control Over Banks By Refusing to Accept Repayment of TARP Money - WSJ.com

Is that enough proof for you? Or do you want more?
