FedEx Freight Playing Dirty

Sales guys here say FedEx is offering a 90% discount for 90 days for any freight that was going to go YRC. GREAT, if Fred Smith has his way he will be the Bill Gates of transportation and we will all be working for minimum wage.

THE UNION NEEDS TO START PICKETTING THESE FOLKS! gum things up for em a little.

Not going to happen! The union has not taken an active stance in organizing in many years, as our membership in the Class 18 pension has shown. Sorry to say, but the best the Teamsters can organize is Jiffy Lube grease jockeys, transit mix drivers, cops, and hospitals. You ever see an announcement in the Teamster rag about organizing a new "NMFA Cosignatory" company? Nope!

Only since JR has been running the show. He has been throwing freight under the bus for years. He called a strike at OHFL and has never been seen since. Those guys have been working without a contract since 2007.

Just heard that also here in NC tonight. 90 days at 90% discount on all YRC freight! I see why alot of people do not like FedEx.
