Well if you are current on your bills I imagine you are in the minority in this age of spend all you make and then some...
This is what I do.... when I need a New car because the old one is falling apart, I buy a new old one cash and then there is no payment book to have to look at :)

Pay em off driver and don't get em back....
Get away from the car payments, they are evil and mess up your cash flow

And the best part, I took advantage of a 0/36 on the finanacing , so I'll keep the money
in my bank while I can!!!

payment 500 per month
depreciation 400 per month
xtra insurance costs 50-100 per month

That car costs you 1000 or so per month to drive

I don't buy new cars and I don't finance so to me there are no good deals on new cars, but I am weird

People buying things they don't need...
With money they don't have...
To impress people they don't even know...
