I heard a local Saturday morning call-in show where a person called in and said the new stimulus plan would do nothing. That, instead, the government should send us ALL either $6,000 singles, or $12,000 couples.

My thought after that was, Why not just send us all $1 million?

My FEAR was The government would send us all post cards CLAIMING it had declared us all millionaires, and would now begin taxing us all at the highest rate, which Rangle wants to raise to 44%.....

What will $600 do?
buy groceries for a couple weeks?
pay rent?
pay mortgage?
some may take that $600 and put it down on a car or spend that plus, getting them into more trouble?
Or
just a little something so the politicans can run home and say "look what I did for you!" re-elect me.
Another entitlement, setting a bad presidence.
